Winton Shared Ministry Faith Community

Holy Trinity Anglican church built and dedicated in 1876 by the Rural Dean of Invercargill Rev.W.P.Tanner. Restored in 1981 it was rededicated by Bishop Peter Mann on Dec 20 1981. It holds a New Zealand Historic Places Trust C classification.?Originally served by clergy from Invercargill it became a part of the Riverton parish in 1880 until 1899. The Revd M.W.Butterfield became the first resident clergy in 1898. The wooden building designed by F.W.Burrell, architect of Invercargill occupies a prominent position on the Invercargill to Queenstown highway at the town's centre. A recently upgraded hall is attached and provides a comfortable venue for both church and communities events.

Sunday worship begins at 9.30am for lst, 3rd and 4th Sunday services, and 10am for 2nd Sunday Family services.
