The Anglican Parish of Holy Cross, nestles in the heart of the St Kilda area. The Church is easily accessed on the corner of Richardson and Ajax Streets. The parish has offered worship here since 1912.
Holy Cross is known as "The Friendly Parish", it is a place where you will always find a warm welcome. We are a parish that knows that all those who are baptised can share in the ministry of the Church Most of all we try, as people who know the love of God in our lives, to take that with us as we go back out to the workplace the home and the clubs we belong to.

More about Holy Cross Parish:Join us for a Eucharistic Service (where bread and wine are shared). The fourth Sunday of each month is a family service so instead of the young people going out for Sunday School we join together in an all age learning and worship event.

we celebrate Holy Communion using the 1928 Prayer Book service. This is a service which uses older language and is appreciated by some of our family who grew up with this service. It is a said service, that is we don't have any music.

every week except on the fourth Sunday. The children begin the morning in church and come back in for communion after their own lesson time. They usually do a short presentation of the activities they have been involved in. We have some wonderful artists and craftspeople amongst this group and a great team of teachers.

The Association of Anglican Women is a woman's fellowship and service group which has a branch in our parish.

For those with a competitive edge, during the winter months (April to September) . We meet on a Wednesday afternoon, 1.30 pm in the parish hall. It's a group that has a lot of fun and even gets around to playing the game.

is a group which fosters the healing and prayer ministry of the church. We individually pray daily for those who are ill, and offer prayer for healing and the laying on of hands if requested. The group meets regularly and meeting times and places are advertised in our weekly pewsheet.

This parish also offers visiting and home communion to those unable for whatever reason to get out and about.
We are also available for baptisms, weddings and funerals.
