Anglican Diocese of Dunedin, New Zealand

The Faith Community of Palmerston

St. Mary's Anglican church Palmerston is situated off the beginning of the Pigroot----on approaching Palmerston town, turn left where the sign points to Ranfurly, go along a little way, and before you reach the large Presbyterian church on the right, turn left into Stromness Street where you will find the small pretty Anglican church of St. Marys.

A eucharist is held every Sunday at 10a.m. either with a priest or with the reserved sacrament administered by a lay-minister. Visitors and new worshippers are always made to feel welcome, and there is always a cuppa after the worship. Children are especially welcome in the church, as are people of all ages.

St. Marys is part of the larger East Otago Parish but along with St. Stephens, Hampden, is in the process of going along the road towards Mutual Ministry.
