| DIOCESAN NOTICES
Mark it on your Calendar 27th
February 2010 at 1:00 p.m. – The Bishop Elect, The Venerable Dr Kelvin Wright will
be Ordained and Installed as the ninth Bishop of Dunedin at St Paul’s
Cathedral.
ALLM Diocesan Education Day "BACK TO BASICS" All who are involved in Ministry both Lay and Ordained are welcome to attend. Saturday February 13th 10am – 3pm @ Anglican Church Hall, Balclutha.
Mission Night with Guest Speakers: Gerald & Maureen Harley Mission
Night @ Holy Trinity Anglican Church, King Street, Invercargill – 6th
February @ 7.30pm - Guest Speakers: Gerald and Maureen Harley. Supper
will be supplied and there will be a collection to go towards Gerald’s
and Maureen’s work. Cheques to support the work should be made
out to NZCMS and marked ‘for support Harley’ or ‘for personal use
Harley’. They will also be preaching at the 9.30am Eucharist Service
at Holy Trinity, 7th February. Please contact Rev’d Susan

Gerald and Maureen Harley work as pastoral supporters for International
Cooperation Cambodia (ICC) in Phnom Penh, they are sent by NZ Church
Missionary Society. The International Cooperation Cambodia is a
diverse Christian development organisation committed to serving the
least served across the Kingdom of Cambodia.

and Maureen Harley will be speaking at the AAW group
meeting at St John’s, Roslyn; 2.00 pm on Thursday 11th February
2010. All Dunedin AAW Groups are warmly invited to attend.
To ensure that we have enough room I do need to know numbers attending
from each group, and also would appreciate a plate of afternoon tea
from each group. There will also be a koha for the Harleys
collected that afternoon. People from parishes without AAW groups
would also be welcome, but they do need to let me know they are

Personal Assistant to the Bishop - Diocese of Christchurch
We
are seeking applicants for the position of Personal Assistant to the
Bishop of Christchurch. This is an opportunity for a person who
is professional and conscientious, warm and hospitable, discreet and
reliable, to serve the Anglican Church and the Bishop of Christchurch
in this key position. Applicants need to be proficient in Microsoft
Office applications and have an understanding of the Anglican Church,

Kaihautū/DIRECTOR This
is an opportunity for a capable and experienced educational
professional to manage and provide academic and operational leadership
for the ongoing development of TORU, the Churches National Youth
Ministry Studies Centre. The Centre is steadfast, providing
quality and innovative programmes to Anglican youth leaders throughout
the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia. The person we are seeking will have: Tertiary qualification relevant to the management of educational institution Experience and familiarity with the needs of youth leaders/ministers High level of proven leadership and interpersonal skills in an educational setting Proven ability in quality assurance and compliance procedures This
is fixed term contract ending 31 December 2010, pending review.
